Under the carbon fiber hood sits a 600 horsepower LS7 motor built by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qmpracing.com\">QMP Racing<\/a>. The engine also features a dry sump oil system, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.detroitspeed.com\">Detroit Speed and Engineering<\/a> headers and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.speartech.com\">Speartech<\/a> engine harness. All that power gets routed through a six-speed T-56 transmission, ACT clutch, and out through a bulletproof Moser 9 inch Ford differential. JCG upgraded the braking to Wilwood C6 Corvette Road Race brakes upfront and Wilwood W4R brakes in back.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i1015.photobucket.com\/albums\/af278\/jcgrestoration\/IMG_1664.jpg?w=1200\" alt=\"LS7 in 1968 Pro-touring Camaro engine bay\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To help with not only the look but also weight, the header, hood, and cowl panel are carbon fiber from Anvil Auto. JCG also stretched the quarter panels and fenders.
