The owner decided to remove the inline-six and replace it with a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/GM_Vortec_engine#LM7\">LM7 5.3L V8<\/a>. The owner was restricted to engines with 300 horsepower or less due to Sweden&#8217;s inspection rules. Otherwise it seems he would have chosen a more powerful V8 engine such as an LS6.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/i1059.photobucket.com\/albums\/t433\/Ecr33v8\/P1010248.jpg?w=1200\" alt=\"Skyline R33 with LM7 V8 swap\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I am sure if there are not already a ton of forum &#8220;discussions&#8221; on this project, there soon will be. The source thread is only one day old and there is already someone disagreeing with the swap. And that is on a site dedicated to only LSx V8 motors. We of course think this is a great project.
