Ann Arbor’s Washtenaw Community College has a pretty cool automotive program called Custom Cars & Concepts. It was in this program that a group of students took a Ford GT drivetrain and suspension and swapped it into a Ford 500. The Ford 500<\/a> was made only for two years and was to fill in the Taurus gap and came front wheel or all wheel drive with a 3.0L V6 producing around 208 horsepower. The supercharged 5.3L ford GT heart puts out around 550 horsepower. You can tell from the pictures that the students did their homework on this car.<\/p>\n
