It was an improvement over the base engine but only produced 110 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque. This 1975 Vega however runs a LS1 V8 which is at least 3x more powerful. The engine is upgraded with a Comp Thumpr camshaft, LS6 valve springs, and Comp Magnums pushrods. The oil pan was switched to a Holley pan developed for ground clearance and swaps. Other changes include a water pump from a LS7, flywheel from a LQ9 truck, and a clutch from a big-block Chevelle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/engineswapdepot.com\/?attachment_id=5226\"
