Oettinger Performance’s special edition 500R debutes with eye-popping performance and price. It starts with a Mk 7 Golf R and gets an upgraded 2.5 L TFSI inline-five engine which produces 518 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque. With AWD and a manual transmission the car can reach 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a weight-to-power ratio of 2.82 kg per HP. To handle that level of power Oettinger also upgraded the cooling, suspension and braking systems. If you are wondering how much this costs you might want to sit down. Although they have not set an official price they did state it will probably start at around $170,000 (150,000 Euros).<\/p>\n
