It’s been a several months since we first shared<\/a> this unique Supra project and in that time the owner made a lot of progress. He’s finished welding the custom motor mounts that will hold the 6BT inline-six in place as well as the custom transmission tunnel covering the ZF S5-47 five-speed manual transmission. There has also been work on radiator, intercooler, subframe lowering, steering system, and interior. Probably the most satisfying moment came when the 6BT was started for the first time (video below). You can follow the project’s progress in the build thread<\/a>.<\/p>\n
