This 1957 Lancia Aurelia B20GT Series 6 “Outlaw” was built for a customer by Thornley Kelhman<\/a> in Staverton, England. The company took inspiration for the project from Giovanni Bracco\u2019s Mille Miglia \/ Le Mans Series 1 race car<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The project started with a Series 6 “barn find” which was stripped and rust repaired. The company lowered the roof three inches while widening the front and rear fenders. They removed the front indicators and switched the rear lights to Series 2 style. They also strengthened the body in the B-post, rear arches, and seat bulkheads. <\/p>\n

When it came time to choose a powertrain, the company wanted something with more power. So they decided on a 2.5 L Lancia V6 paired and a four-speed manual transaxle from a Flaminia GT 2.5 3C. The company increased the engine’s displacement to 2.8 L and added fuel injection, ported\/polished heads, upgraded camshaft, and custom exhaust manifolds. <\/p>\n

The car rides on a lowered suspension with increased negative chamber thanks to modified front and rear axles. The disc brakes (inboard on rear) feature billet calipers, vented rotors, and adjustable brake bias. They also converted the car to left-hand drive.<\/p>\n
