The project which took three years to build, features a shortened 1976 Beetle frame (80-inch wheelbase) with adjustable torsion springs, coilover shocks, and 4-wheel disc brakes under a modified 1976 Camaro Z28 fiberglass body. The body is covered in Maserati Mediterranean Blue with custom air brushing and pin striping. Behind the driver sits a 2332 cc flat-four that makes 230 horsepower thanks to two 44 mm Weber carburetors, MSD ignition, and Holley fuel pump. The engine is paired with a new built transmission featuring 3300 lb clutch and lightened flywheel. <\/p>\n
