The current owner purchased this Cayman with a blown motor and wanted to swap a Chevy V8 or an Audi V8\/V10. The owner decided to go with the LS3 V8. The engine is using a Kennedy Engineering LSx adapter to bolt to the factory Porsche transaxle. The owner plans to install a dry sump oiling system and Quaife sequential transmission. It will be interesting to see the performance compared to other Caymans.
