Seven years ago Managing Director Mike Chalkley upgraded the company&#8217;s Nissan Navara D21 shop truck with a turbocharged 3.0 L VQ30DET V6 and four-speed automatic from a Nissan Gloria Y33 (JDM). The stock engine&#8217;s output of 199 kW (266 hp) is sent through a H233 rear end from a Nissan Terrano D21, converted to use leaf springs. Recently Mike wanted to increase the engine&#8217;s output so he installed new manifolds, larger intercooler, and Turbonetics turbocharger (T3 65\/57 mm turbine, TO4E 55\/76 mm compressor).
