Over many years the truck featured many different small-block Chevy V8s. With this setup it ran 11.0 seconds in the quarter-mile. Then in 2011 the truck received a twin-turbo setup and was able to get 10.6 seconds in the quarter-mile. After bending all eight connecting rods, a new motor was built with stronger internals. The engine has Wagler Comp cylinder heads on top of a Danville Performance motor and Rossler Turbo 400 transmission. The triple turbo system was built by HSP Diesel and uses Bullseye Power turbochargers. This combo was good for a World Record of 8.81 seconds at 158 mph.
