He replaced that with a turbocharged 2.5 L 1JZ inline-six using <a href=\"https:\/\/xcessivemanufacturing.com\/bmw\/e36\/e36-to-jz-motor-mount-brackets.html\">Xcessive mounts<\/a>. The 1JZ mates to a BMW ZF five-speed manual transmission thanks to a <a href=\"https:\/\/pmcmotorsport-shop.com\/product-eng-1746-PMC-Adapter-Kit-Toyota-JZ-1JZ-2JZ-BMW-M50-M52-M54-S52-S54-M57-GS5-39DZ.html\">PMC Motorsport adapter plate<\/a> and shortened
