\"Honda<\/a><\/p>\n

Michael Trujillo’s Honda S2000<\/a> came from the factory with a 2.2 L F22C inline-four however he wanted something different. So he swapped a 3.2 L J32A2 V6 from a 2003 Acura TL Type-S in his garage in Albuquerque, New Mexico. <\/p>\n

The engine sits on InlinePRO mount brackets<\/a> with a set of factory S2000 engine mounts. To get the intake to face forward, Michael flipped the intake runners and plugged the EGR port. Then he cut just before the throttle body and welded it back at a downward angle to clear the factory hood. He installed a modified K&N S2000 intake system with a factory F22C throttle cable and throttle body. He removed the butterfly actuator using a Prank Parts butterfly delete plate.<\/p>\n

Michael routed the coolant lines forward and under the intake manifold which also doubles as an EGR delete. The Vibrant coolant hoses connect to a K-Tuned billet thermostat housing<\/a> before a Mishimoto dual-core radiator. He used an Alloy Craft heater valve relocation bracket to turn the coolant lines at the firewall. Since the subframe needs to be cut and boxed for the factory J32 oil filter, Michael was the first person to use the Trac Tuff remote oil filter block adapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Michael retained air conditioning using a custom bracket for the factory S2000 compressor along with a Ballade Sports AC kit. He notched the oil pan since he is using a K24 Accord starter which sits under the oil pan. Michael retained the factory gauges thanks to a modified S2000 wiring harness he built and an AEM Series 2 EMS. The engine exhales through a set of InlinePRO exhaust headers.<\/p>\n

The V6 mates to the factory S2000 six-speed manual transmission via an InlinePRO adapter plate<\/a> with an ACT clutch and Competition flywheel. The driveshaft and rear end were left untouched.<\/p>\n
