The auction was for a 1936 Nash Lafayette with just about everything under the body taken from the Toyota\/Lexus parts bin. The drivetrain is sourced from a third-generation Toyota Soarer that includes a 2.5 L twin-turbo 1JZ-GTE, automatic transmission, and a Torsen differential with 4.08 gearing. The classic body sits a custom frame that allows the car to use front and rear independent suspension parts from a third-generation Supra and Lexus models.
