The factory powertrain was swapped using Mazda parts. The engine is a 1.2 L 12A two-rotor from a 1978 Mazda RX-7 which produces 190 hp thanks to some port work. The transmission is a RX-7 five-speed manual with a heavy duty clutch that sends power to a Mazda limited-slip differential. The seller claims the car reaches 150 mph and gets 20 mpg. The previous owner built this car in the 90&#8217;s during the time the <a href=\"https:\/\/grassrootsmotorsports.com\/project-cars\/1974-triumph-spitifre-ro-spit\/\">Grassroots Motorsports Ro-spit<\/a> was built. The difference being this was built for the road while the Ro-spit was built for the track.<\/p>\n<p><a
