The Comanche originally came with a 4.0 L inline-six but David soon swapped it out for a 5.3 L Vortec V8. The engine uses a LS9 cam, upgraded springs, and port\/polished heads but the bottom end is completely stock. It produces between 500-550 WHP thanks to a 76 mm turbo producing 18 psi of boost.
