The Ariel Atom<\/a> comes either with a supercharged 2.0 L Honda K20 inline-four or a supercharged 2.0 L GM Ecotec inline-four. Ariel is building a special “Atom V8” model that will be powered by a 3.0 L V8 built by Hartley Enterprises using two Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle heads. The engine is estimated to make 500 hp and redline at 10,000 rpm. The motor will be paired with a Sadev six-speed sequential transmission. Of course that kind of rarity and power doesn’t come cheap. The engine is estimated to cost $50,000 and the car will be approximately \u00a3140,000-\u00a3150,000.<\/p>\n
