The team built the replica around a Porsche 914 which hadn&#8217;t run in 10 years. Powering the car is a carbureted Mazda 12A two-rotor engine. I think the team did a good job building the body to simulate the original. Since this was a LeMons build they used whatever supplies they had such as plywood, lumber, expanding spray foam, and aluminum to make the aerodynamic body panels. They also switched the driver&#8217;s position to the middle of the car. LeMons is one race series that rewards creativity in projects and Speedchimp Racing has already won a Organizers&#8217; Choice Award for this build.<\/p>\n<p><a
