\"Porsche<\/a><\/p>\n

This 1981 Porsche 911 Targa was built by M.D. Brooks from Newport Beach, California. The factory motor was replaced with a 1970 Cadillac Eldorado 500 ci V8 which produces 517 horsepower and at least 600 lb-ft of torque. Maximum Torque Specialties built the fully balanced engine with Bulldog aluminum heads, upgraded camshaft, and small bore. Power goes to the rear wheels through a Turbo-Hydramatic 425 three-speed automatic transaxle. The Targa body was chosen because the unibody provided more rigidity helping when sheet metal was removed to fit the large engine in the back. Read more about the project here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
