The Roadster Shop always brings an amazing project to SEMA every year. Last year they brought their 1970 Rampage Camaro<\/a> powered by a 750 horsepower LS7. This year they changed it up and built a serious off-road vehicle.<\/p>\n

The team will be unveiling their 2015 Chevy Colorado build at SEMA 2015. The project took three months with the goal being a “no compromise” build. As they said themselves this would not be a some “bolt-on suspension parts, a few stickers, and call it a day” type of project.<\/p>\n

The Colorado is powered by a Wegner built 730 horsepower LS7 with a dry sump oil system and FAST intake. The transmission is a 4L80E automatic connected to a Currie 9″ full floating rear end. The front suspension is a J-arm system with 22″ of travel and the rear is a 4-link system with 27″ of travel. All of this sits on a custom built Roadster Shop chassis.<\/p>\n

One look at the custom suspension arms and you know the team wasn’t lying when they said this was a no-compromise project.<\/p>\n
