If you remember Rusty was severely damaged in a garage fire in 2011. They started with the E28 shell and built a completely custom tube chassis that would allow them to essentially customize every aspect of the car from engine placement, suspension type, and ride height. The body and wheelbase have been shortened almost 12 inches. Under the hood sits a BMW S38 inline-six that was built by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vacmotorsports.com\/\">VAC Motorsports<\/a>. The displacement has been increased to 3.7 L and upgraded with forged internals, 14:1 compression, and a dry sump oiling system.
