It was born out of fond memories operating Caterpillar machines with his grandfather and always wanting to build a hot rod using heavy machine parts. Work began after his father offered a 1928 Studebaker Commander he was no longer interested in. So he took the Studebaker Commander body and installed it over a 1996 International 9200 chassis with a custom Z&#8217;d rear. The front grill is off a 996 front-end loader. The engine is a 732 ci (12.0 L) CAT C12 diesel inline-six which produces 430 horsepower and 1,650 lb-ft of torque. The drivetrain consists of an Eaton Fuller ten-speed manual transmission and Freightliner Airliner rear end. The front suspension is a custom air suspension.<\/p>\n<p><a
