The race car is powered by a 998 cc inline-four from a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yamaha_YZF-R1\">Yamaha R1<\/a> motorcycle. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCCWPy8e7TkqGZH4zt4TiTNw\">Hillclimb Monsters<\/a> reports the motor produces 160 horsepower at 11,800 rpm. The 550 kg (1212 lb) race car still retains front-wheel drive with a sequential transmission.
