They started with a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 truck and stuffed a 8.0 L Magnum V10 from a 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 3500. These engines were based off the 5.9 L V8 with two more cylinders added and produced 310 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The owner rebuilt the V10 to &#8220;Viper specs&#8221; with custom work on the heads, Mopar Performance cams, stainless steel headers, custom exhaust, and a SCT Hemifever tune. The engine is mated to an upgraded 47RE automatic transmission with hardened syncros, input and output shafts, and 2,800 rpm stall converter. Behind that is a Mopar 9.25 rear end with 3.55 gears and Power Trax Locker with custom mod allowing for full spool. The truck still needs the wiring completed, fuel lines and of course a driver&#8217;s seat. <\/p>\n<p><a
