Take for example this project from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064882442629\">Boix Performance<\/a> in Funtana, Croatia. They have taken a 1961 Mercedes Ponton, removed everything besides the body and installed the entire chassis including the powertrain from a totaled Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. That means this classic now has a turbocharged 2.0 L 4G63T inline-four producing 287 horsepower (214 kW) and 289 lb-ft (392 Nm) if the builder keeps it factory. I don&#8217;t need to tell you how far these engines can be pushed. That combined with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive will make this one really unique Mercedes. To give you an idea of how fast this could be, the Evo VI could reach 0-60 mph in 4.2-4.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in 12.6-13.3 seconds from the factory.<\/p>\n<p><a
