After the Hellcat V8 came on the scene there was plenty of internet talk about what it should go into. One of those was a Ram truck similar in spirit to the SRT-10. Dodge may not be willing to build one but a dealership in Midland, Ontario just did. Midland Chrysler started by buying a 6.2 L supercharged Hellcat V8 from a South Carolina dealership for $45,000 and then their Shop Foreman/Mechanic Kev Byrnes got to work installing it. To get the engine’s supercharger to fit under the factory hood they had to install a three inch body lift. They also had to modify the firewall, oil pan, wiring harness, relocate the battery and reprogram the powertrain control module. If you are hoping to own your own 707 horsepower AWD Ram truck then you better have some savings because this project cost the buyer $90,000 without the truck.

Not crazy about the lift. Besides that, Ontario has new laws as of July 1st that limit a lift of any kind to 2 inches maximum. Guess you can break that rule when you do your own safeties.
I assume they did that for safety reasons? No way a law like that would pass in most US states. People love their lifts.
Umm ya that’s just stupid 90k just for the install and engine plus the truck you could buy something with a lot more power for that price
dude got robbed plain and simple. mopar sells the hellcat create around 20’ish,,installs eh 3,500 at high end, an i dont see much real cost adds on it, still love the project, yet want nothing to do with HELL” cat or any reference to hell or evil,, i’ll be posting my 1,200 hp 1435 trq 6/4 supercharged ram soon here . ALL for less then 20 ! so again Dude GOT ROBBED, and im near daytona beach IF ANYONE dares to want the ride or see it !! YOU CANT REACH FORWARD TO THE DASH TO GRAB THE THOUSAND $ ON THE DASH.. when launched , ROLLING ON 37 interco trXus MT’s….. rick chew says so !!!
