Dany Nussbaumer is the owner of this 2009 Volkswagen Eos. Over several years he has slowly modified it into a very unique sport compact. Under the hood sits a 3.6 L VR6 FSI (EA390) taken from a Passat B6 R36. The engine produces 296 horsepower (221 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an automatic transmission probably a six-speed DSG. Body modifications include a Scirocco R front, widened wheel arches, and all covered in Lamborghini grey paint. The car rides on an HP Drivetech air suspension with an Accuair controller.

Title of the article is kinda misleading. Because there was a version of EOS with 3.2 VR6.
Thank you. Wikipedia let me down. I will update the title to be more clear. Did the Eos also come with a 3.6 L VR6 engine? I ask because when I checked the German wikipedia they seem list the 3.2 L and 3.6 L as VR6 engines. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/VW_Eos
The 3.2 and 3.6 are indeed VR6 design engines. They have the 15 degree cylinder banks just like the old 2.8 VR6. They also have a great exhaust note that is synonymous to the VR6.
Thank you for clarifying.
Hi mate, love this engine swap. can i ask you some questions? id like to attempt this in AU.
1. what computer did you use? was it hard to get it working with the rest of the canbus computers?
2. is there a reason you didnt use AWD? surely it can fit? at least ill be attempting to do it. Ive a 2011 CC 3.6 i want to use as a donor vehicle..
i have loads more questions, would love a facebook contact or something to help plan.. cheers
