Lanzante finished building the “JW83” Porsche 930 TAG Turbo. This is #9 of 11 special edition Porsche 930s with a twin-turbo 1.5 L V6 (TAG-Porsche TTE PO1). Lanzante states the motor in the back of this 930 was used by Alain Prost to win the 1987 Belgium GP. Lanzante reworks the motors to handle street diving by lowering the RPM (11,500 to 9,500), reducing boost (4.0 bar to 3.0 bar), using pump fuel, improved cooling, and the addition of AC and alternator. In front of the motor is a 993 six-speed manual transaxle.
