Marc Roger built his 2002 Honda Insight to drag race. In the engine bay he installed a 3.2 L Honda J32A2 V6 making 305-325 hp or 500-600 hp on nitrous. The motor features Ferrea valves, Ferrea springs, ARP head studs, P2R camshafts, P2R headers, Ktuned 90 mm throttle body, and dry direct port nitrous system. Fuel is delivered by FIC 1000 cc injectors from a Weldon D2025-A fuel pump controlled by a Haltech Elite 2500. Power is sent to the front tires through a six-speed transmission with a limited-slip differential and Clutchmasters twin-disc clutch. Marc is selling the Insight for $15,000 OBO.

  1. I encountered this car one Friday night on the FL> Turnpike. I was driving my GF’s Elantra Sport (201 hp turbo w/ DCT)(My Mustang GT was at home) in the left lane @ 75 mph, when this Insight pulled in front of me from the middle lane. I said “Damn, now he’s going to block the left lane for the next 5 miles.” But he pulled back into the middle lane in a couple hundred feet. So I stepped on it and blew past him at 70+ and climbing. About 15 seconds later he blows by me and disappears up the road.
Luckily we both were coming off the same exit and I caught up with him after we got onto the next road. I pulled up beside him and asked “What the hell do you have in that thing?” He laughed and told me the specs. Then…while we were both going around 30 mph, he loaded it up and did a rolling burnout-smoking both front tires and disappeared up the road!
