Have you ever wondered how much one of ICON’s Derelict projects cost? Well we have an idea based on the $397,000 asking price for this 1950 Buick Roadmaster. The car is currently for sale on eBay and the seller lists an appraisal sheet with values for different pars of the car including $165,000 for design and fabrication. If you are unfamiliar with this project it was built last year and features an Art Morrison chassis, 7.0 L LS7 V8 producing 505 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque connected to a 4L85E automatic transmission.

Hahahahahahaha!
$397k? American Dollars?
Hahahahahahaha!
Yeah, someone will probably buy it for that. Or maybe lowball them at $390k.
That comment reflects a lack of knowledge about the builder
Love the idea, that a P.O.S. looking vehicle, that cost $45.00 to purchase, originally. Finds morons with money in California to pay two-fifths of a Million dollars for it!. Just goes to prove what kind of hucksters pray on the over payed, lunatic fringe, alive and fleeced in Los Angles ?
Sure you can drop six figures on a superb S-Class Benz – but anyone can do that. Some of us want Unique. Some of us love cars that were sculpted of clay. Some of us think we lose something with each new model year. Some of us revere original patina. For the bespoke ride with this ethos in mind you pay MULTIPLE six figures.
