Winslow Bent from Legacy Classic Trucks stopped by Jay Leno’s Garage to show off the 1942 Dodge Carryall he just finished for a customer. The Carryall was originally built to serve in WW2 and came with a flathead straight-six with a four-speed manual transmission. The 7,100 lb truck rides on a boxed chassis with upgraded leaf springs and King shocks. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 3.9 L 4BT diesel inline-four that produces 130 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The drivetrain consists of an Atlas transfer case, Dana 60 front diff and Corporate 14-bolt rear with 4.56 gears.

I’m not crazy about the paint job but the rest of it screams awesome.
Agree with Mike on the paint, and the rest of the truck too.
Legacy used to have a build called “Legacy 3100 Supertruck”. 800 hp Nelson Racing engine in an early 50’s chevy/gmc. I lusted after that, must admit I still do. If there was a way to attach I would send the brochure.
I couldn’t find a link on their website and didn’t realize there might be an archived link. Google gave me this:

Cool trucks.
Cool truck! But Porsche killer it ain’t for the same reason that a Miata can go around The Streets of Willow faster than a Hellcat.
I was thinking “Porsche killer” was a little strong but with 50/50 AWD I was going to give it the benefit of the doubt. lol
