James Hardisty and Hagen Bruggemann from Control Focus built this 1957 Ford Fairlane called Evie for New Zealand energy company Mercury. A Siemens electric motor designed for electric buses propels the Fairlane with a custom controller built by Scott Osborne at Scott Drive. Above the electric motor is a custom 50 kWh battery pack holding 218 cells. The battery pack weighs 880 lb for a total vehicle weight of 4850 lb and a range of 74 miles (120 km).
