This Nissan R32 was built to drag race with a powerful inline-six. However instead of a RB-series inline-six, it is powered by a twin-turbo 2JZ inline-six. The engine produces 1,380 horsepower thanks to two Garrett GT T04ZR turbochargers.

If I had to guess, the particular builder has more experience/spare parts for the 2JZ engine. My second guess would be to build something for the reaction.
2jz better than rb26 or even rb28 or rb30
it can make easy 7 seconds dragester or maybe less than 7 seconds
but that R32 got insane engine
