I think it’s very safe to assume this is a kit car because as nice as this is, no one is crazy enough to mess with an original Ferrari 250 California. This kit appears to have a modern V8 out of a 2008-2013 Ferrari California. It’s possible this is not an engine swap at all. The builder could have kept the entire modern California drivetrain and grafted the body over it. Please leave a comment if you know more information about this project.

This is what I call a posh hot rod, it looks cute.
It is a 2010 California with a handbuilt body “inspired” by a 250 California. It has a soft top and a functional rear seat with seat belts. The wheels are modern Borranis.
