Kenn Egtved from Mr. Grey Drifting in Denmark competes with his 2007 Corvette Z06 in the Drift Masters European Championship. Kenn sold the factory 7.0 L LS7 V8 in favor of a 6.2 LS3 V8 several years ago. He recently sent the car to Søren Heyer at FUBAR Racing for a custom twin-turbo system. There the engine received two Garrett GTX3582R turbochargers with a lot of custom piping. The project still needs wiring work and a tune before we can hear it on the track. I don’t get it, why sell the LS7 for an LS3?
I believe it broke and sold it after repairing it.
The 7.0 with thinner cylinder walls, is not as suitable for high HP applications, i.e. high boost.
