Tom’s Turbo Garage released another update on his Project Firebolt. For those unfamiliar with the project, Tom replaced the factory powertrain in his 2002 Toyota Tacoma with a turbocharged 5.3 L LSx V8, 4L80E four-speed automatic, and Ford 8.8-inch rear end. In this video Tom finishes the wiring, adds fluids, and installs the shifter before taking the truck for the first test drive.

i also have an 02 tacoma and have been looking to mod it like this, how hard was it to put the engine in? I’m just starting to mod and don’t know a lot so it would be so much help.
