Ever since High School Rick O’Donnell has loved Datsun vehicles. Rick found a rusted Datsun 510 shell without a drivetrain and wanted to turn it into a track car. Rick worked on the body and McKinney Motorsports worked on installing a turbocharged Nissan SR20DET. After the swap he realized the car needed bigger tires to hold the power so he extended the fenders. The Datsun weighs 2,390 lbs with 50.5% of the weight in the front and 49.5% in the back.
