Fred and Dave from Dirt Every Day are building a 4×4 diesel muscle car out of a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. The engine will be a next generation Cummins ISV 5.0 L V8 turbo diesel crate engine. This is the exact same engine that will be used in the new Nissan Titan truck. From the factory the engine produces 275 horsepower and 565 ft-lb of torque. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission and a transfer case to send all that diesel torque to four really big tires.

Any idea what the cost will be to the general public for the next generation Cummins ISV 5.0 L V8 turbo diesel crate engine.
Sorry Michael I have no idea how much it will cost.
What Stand Alone system did they use on this cummins?
Is this cummins the same found in the new 2016+ Titan XD?
I believe Cummins provided them with a custom system. Yes this is the same engine.
Who do I contact for a stand alone computer and wiring harness for the swap?
I have a 67 Chevy Truck K20 4×4 that I’d like to put one in.
Hi Jeffery. I have not come across a standalone harness or ECU for this engine.
