When we last wrote about HEED-Auto’s AWD VW Scirocco it’s best quarter-mile was 8.181 sec at 281.09 kph (174.6 mph). Just recently they broke that record with a 7.973 sec at 282.61 kph (175.6 mph). They call it the “SkyRocco” because under its silver body sits a 3.2 L inline-six made from a Nissan RB30 block and a RB26 head. The engine produces 1,200+ horsepower on 36.2 psi (2.5 bar) of boost.
