BMW E30 M3 with a M5 V10

BMW E30 M3 with a M5 V10

The Swedish builder of this BMW E30 M3 was going to use a turbo S14 but since there were a few others in Sweden he didn’t have much motivation to complete it. That is until he came across a V10 from an BMW M5 that was priced right. Soon the 5.0 L S85 V10 was sitting under the hood producing 535 horsepower at 7700 rpm and 545 Nm (401.9 lb-ft) of torque at 6,600 rpm. Behind the engine sits a ZF five-speed manual transmission from a BMW 525TDS connected to a BMW Z3M diff. The car weighs 1,300 kg or 2,866 lb. The car is currently for sale at Blocket.se with an asking price of 439,000 SEK or around $52,582.

  1. Hi, I know this car is sold but I would like to know who made the adapter for the transmission on this car. I’m building one myself and would like to use s5d-320 transmission on the s85 engine but don know who makes it. Please let me know who I can contact to get this information.
    Thank you
