Johnathan Goodwin of SAE Energy is transforming a 5,000 lb Hummer H3 into a hybrid vehicle. It starts with a military turbine capable of 600 horsepower and 2,000 lb-ft of torque at 60,000 rpm. The turbine will run off biodiesel and charge several super capacitor batteries to power electric engines. The really neat trick is it will run off the electric motors most the time and only turn on the turbine when the batteries need to be refilled. By combining each of the technologies strengths Johnathan has created a Hummer that will get around 60 mph.

Have a hummer h3 with 5 cylinder . Like to swap out to larger v6 with good milage
I don’t know of many V6 conversions. I am sure there are but most seem to go diesel or gas V8.
