Sean Stewart from Building With Sean heard a knocking noise coming from the turbocharged FA20 flat-four in his 2015 Subaru BRZ. After considering rebuilding or a new engine, he decided on swapping to Honda power. Sean went with a turbocharged 2.4 L K24A2 inline-four using a KPower swap kit. The motor features a Pulsar GTX3076 turbocharger, Turbosmart Hypergate 35 mm wastegate, Touge Factory (TF Works) exhaust manifold, KPower oil pan, and Grams 1000 cc injectors. It is controlled by a Haltech Elite 1500 ECU using a KPower wiring harness. Sean chose to also swap the factory transmission for a CD009 six-speed manual transmission using a Collins adapter plate and custom aluminum driveshaft.
