Roy Wallace built his 1962 Jeep FC-170 into a unique chase truck for offroad desert racing. Under the cab is a 5.3 L LSx V8 controlled by a Holley Terminator Max ECU. Behind that is a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission and 208 transfer case. Power is split between a Yukon Dana 60 front axle and Yukon Corporate 14-bolt rear axle. One of the most interesting modifications is the custom 108×72-inch aluminum bed by Summit Expedition Trucks. They also fabricated custom 58-inch front boxes, 60-inch side gates, and 48-inch pullout drawer. On top of that all is a Hi-Tents roof top tent.

  1. I like this, but I would be more interested if it had been completed and used for a year with no electrical/mechanical breakdowns.
