1967 Firebird with a Turbo 2.0L Inline-Four

1967 Firebird with a Turbo 2.0L Ecotec Inline-Four

Complete Concepts found a 1967 Pontiac Firebird abandoned for many years in a forest in Alaska. With the factory motor seized, the team decided to swap turbocharged 2.0 L LTG inline-four (Gen III Ecotec) from a 2018 Malibu. This motor produces 250 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Behind that is a Tremec TR3160 six-speed manual transmission and independent 9-inch rear end. Complete Concepts upgraded the handling with a Heidts front subframe and Pro G independent rear suspension. The Firebird features selectable electric power steering rack and Wilwood disc brakes in front and inboard disc brakes in back. It rolls on Rocket Racing Attack 18-inch wheels with 275/35 Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Watch the full build series here or place a bid on Bring a Trailer and make it yours.
