In 2013 Milner Racing began selling their newest off-road race car called the LRM-1. The project drew from their 30+ years of off-road racing and featured a full space frame chassis with double wishbone fully independent suspension. The composite body is designed after a Range Rover Evoque at 4/5 scale. Customers could order it as a rolling kit or as a complete turn-key race car.
This particular LRM-1 was built with a 6.2 L LS3 V8 which produces 535 horsepower. The engine sits in the back of the race car connected to a Tremec TK600 five-speed manual transmission. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a reverse rotation transfer box, heavy duty driveshafts/CVs, and Skyline limited-slip diffs in the front and rear.
The race car rides on a long travel independent suspension with remote reservoir coilovers all around. Steering is handled by a quick-ratio electric steering rack and stops with WRC 380 mm rotors and six-piston brakes. To give you an idea of how much a race car like this costs Simmonites is currently selling it for £125,000 or about $163,536.
This is another Milner LRM-1 but with a Ford V8.
