Cleveland Power & Performance was tasked with swapping the powertrain in this 1988 Pontiac Trans Am. Under the hood they installed a twin-turbo 3.6 L LF4 V6 from a 2016 Cadillac ATS-V. The motor features lightweight titanium connecting rods, domed aluminum pistons, nodular iron main caps, baffled oil pan, and custom exhaust. Tuned by Tapout Tuning, it made 511 hp and 502 lb-ft to the wheels at 19.9 psi (1.3 bar) of boost. Behind the motor is a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission, custom driveshaft, and Ford 9-inch rear end. You can view more photos of the car’s progress in the build album.

I am a Hugh fan of this kind of swap. V-8s have ruled for a long time, maybe it is V-6s turn.
I hope they gain in popularity for swaps. We need more companies to offer swap parts for them.
