In 2019 Peter Björck from BJP Race set out on his ambitious “Volvoghini” project. The goal was to swap a 5.0 L V10 from a Lamborghini Gallardo into a 1975 Volvo 245 wagon. Behind that would be a custom adapter fitted to a BMW GS6-45BZ six-speed manual transmission. The project made its debut at Streetweek Sweden 2023 after years of custom work on mounts, tubing, wiring, steering, and braking.
