Michael Elkhouri and his “LOL13B” Mazda RX-7 went 6.85 sec at 203 mph at Sydney Dragway. Under the hood is a turbocharged 3.0 L 2JZ inline-six featuring a billet block, factory crank, Nitto pistons and rods, Dailey Engineering dry sump, and Precision GEN2 Pro Mod 102 turbocharger. On top sits a Gas Racing head, Hypertune intake manifold, and 12 injectors spraying methanol by a mechanical pump. Backing the motor is a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission and Ford 8.8-inch independent rear end. The car still retains the full steel body and glass.
