Brian Jørgensen and his Audi 80 traveled from their home in Denmark to Santa Pod Raceway in the UK for Doorslammers 2024. VeeDubRacing interviewed Brian at the event and discovered the race car is powered by a 3.1 L BMW M50 inline-six. Thanks to a 85 mm turbocharger and nitrous system, the motor is making 1,000+ horsepower on 1.8 bar (26.1 psi) of boost. VeeDubRacing reports Brian’s best run at the event was a 8.74 sec at 146 mph.
