This 1976 Mercedes 450 SLC called “The Green Machine” was built for the former boss of Dresdner Bank in Germany. That was swapped for a 6.9 L M100 V8 producing 282 hp (210 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. Behind the big motor is a five-speed manual transmission. The outside features an AMG bodykit covered in Silbergrun Metallic paint accented by European bumpers and Penta wheels. The inside uses Recaro seats with Schroth harnesses, custom roll bar, and a lot of green velour. The car is being auctioned by Bonhams Cars located in Santa Paula, California.
